The EP is topped off with a cover version of the track ‘Blackened (The circle complete)’, that appeared originally on the album ‘The devil and the whore’ by Canadian black metal band Megiddo (2000).

On July 23, internationally, Void Wanderer Productions is proud to present POX’s striking new EP B.K.W.
POX evolved from the black metal underground in 2014. Since that very moment, the band’s mission statement has remained basically unaltered: to create the foulest, most rancid, vintage as fuck black metal possible. In a time wherein black metal is widely regarded as being the next online pop culture outwash, POX proudly holds the rotten banner of the old values.
This indeed is Einzelgänger black metal stubbornness.
This is Brass Knuckle Witchcraft.
The fundaments of POX’s music are firmly rooted in traditional, first and second wave black metal. Often served in mesmerizing midtempos, the black metal base is spiced up with an injection of wild, punkish aggression. This combination results in a stripped down yet hyper effective brand of metal. Regressive but original, coarse and harsh but sharp as a rusty razor, the POX formula has proven its effect on carefully selected crowds throughout the years.
Concept-wise, POX distils inspiration from two main sources. One is the bleak folklore of north-western Europe, more often than not resonating with pre-Christian archetypes and heathen concepts. The other is the history of plague and disease in that same region. Both subject matters are quite closely linked together and crossovers in terms of content only add deeper value.
Over the years, there have been quite a lot of line-up changes. But those are not important. This is not an ego-thing. Hence, names and faces are of the utmost irrelevance.
