Warming up after the proclaimed violence is Schavot, Floris Velthuis’s creation performed live for the second time. Is ending up on the scaffold any warmer than finding yourself in icy cold and unreality? Two tracks where folklore is described and history is enacted. Accompanied by the Zwotte Kring, Floris leads you through these tales, may they sink into books forever.
Asgrauw closes with their story. Still bitter from past deeds, all-consuming yet carefully binding. They finish the set and deliver the final blow. They leave no one intact, heralds of history, brutal yet eloquent in their grim splendor.
Bloedmaan – brings you true 90s inspired black metal with vampirical themes. Drawing inspiration from the well of romantic literature and wat is now generally defined as the second wave off black metal. Suttungr – is a black metal band from Kerkrade, Limburg, founded in 2017. Their music blends the raw aggression of second-wave black metal with themes rooted in regional history, pagan resistance, and ancestral memory. Lyrics often explore uprisings and folklore from the Low Countries, with a focus on cultural identity and historical depth.
Gogmagore:
Raw, relentless black metal from the Netherlands.Emerging from the underground in 2020 and rising to full strength in 2023, this six-headed beast fuses old-school black metal with death metal intensity. Known for their visceral live shows—complete with corpse paint and pig’s blood—GogmaGore leaves a lasting mark on every stage they conquer.
